I went to art school at SCAD.

Since then, I’ve painted murals, transformed boring walls into something worth staring at, created custom artwork, painted things that probably weren’t meant to be painted, and somehow turned my inability to leave anything alone into an actual career.

I’m the artist behind Art by Brooke Ratcliffe, where original artwork meets wearable art, vintage inspiration, a little pop-art attitude, and whatever other fabulous nonsense is currently occupying my brain.

My work is bold, colorful, sometimes a little ridiculous, and never particularly interested in blending in.

From large-scale murals and one-of-a-kind commissions to hand-painted fashion, custom clothing, and original artwork, I like making things that feel like they have a personality. Preferably a big one.

I’m a mother of two, a collector of creative ideas, a chronic rearranger of things, and a firm believer that life is entirely too short for boring walls, boring clothes, or boring art.

My philosophy? More color. More personality. Less taking everything so damn seriously.
